this handmade birch racer has an advanced runner system unlike that of any
other sled for exhilarating speeds and a pivoting front section that allows
tight, controlled turns. The birch planks and willow handrails were tested
in Colorado by outdoor enthusiasts and winter-sports experts, and are coated
with three coats of marine-grade finish for long-lasting durability. The
sled is able to navigate almost any conditions, including freshly-fallen,
hard-packed, and iced-over snow. It meets all USC and ASTM child safety
requirements. A pad for increased comfort is available separately below. 4"
